The only arm on this card that two outlets tested independently, on the listing we link, which is why it is the top pick. It is BTOD's value pick of the five Amazon dual arms it tested, which BTOD calls the Huanuo Dual Spring Arm and links to the same Amazon listing as this card: "The spring mechanism held its own with two 27″ monitors and raised them to eye level, which the WALI couldn’t do." BTOD found it sturdy once set up and could run one screen horizontal and one vertical, but notes two desk clamps, a lot of plastic and cable management that is a hassle to set up [src3]. PCWorld tested the same Amazon listing and calls it "a decent dual-monitor arm for the price and worthwhile on a discount", at a typical $60: the metal construction "feels rigid and looks durable" and gave plenty of lift, but installation takes two clamps and roughly a dozen screws, the cable routing is hard to tighten, and PCWorld thinks the Monoprice Workstream Dual Monitor Arm "provides more for a similar price" [src1]. Ergotron's listing gives 7-20 lbs per screen, a clamp for desk edges 0.63-2.6 inches thick or a grommet mount, and 13 inches of lift rising 15.6 inches from the desktop [src8]. Tom's Guide's pick for two monitors: "well-designed, strong and supports dual monitors up to 27 inches each." Against it, setup is relatively complicated and takes longer than average, it is a little expensive, and it fits only desks of around 2.25 inches or less — Tom's Guide tried a thicker desk and could not install it [src2]. Vari's page recommends 16:9 monitors up to 27 inches and gives a 10-year warranty (Tom's Guide's spec box says 5 years), and its spec sheet gives 19.8 lbs per arm and marks 1 3/8 inches at the desk clamp, so measure the desk first [src13]. Its serious limitation is that the two arms are connected in a way that prevents you from mounting them at different heights, and two ultrawides that large will be hard to fit [src2]. Mount-It! lists the MI-2752 for 17-32-inch screens at 19.8 lbs per arm, with ±45 degrees of tilt, ±180 degrees of arm swivel, 360-degree rotation, a 17.5-inch pole and a lifetime warranty (Tom's Guide's spec box gave 1 year); Mount-It!'s US store listed it as available when we checked on 2026-10-14 [src14]. Techaeris mounted a 32-inch 16:10 and a 34-inch 16:9 monitor on it and found the arms glide easily: "Overall, you cannot beat the HUANUO DS7 for the price." It took about half an hour to assemble and ten minutes to adjust; the cable channels are too narrow for several thick cables, the covers are finicky, and the springs take fine-tuning to hold the monitors. Its base takes clamp or grommet mounting on desks up to 3.54 inches and holds two USB ports [src6]. HUANUO's US store listed it as available when we checked on 2026-10-14 [src12]. It is not ranked because Techaeris is the only outlet we read that tested it.

• Three testers pick an Ergotron LX dual arm. BTOD's best dual arm is the LX Dual Stacking Arm, Tall Pole, PCWorld's best dual arm is the LX Dual Side-by-Side, and Tom's Guide's stacking pick is the LX Dual Stacking arm on its 13-inch pole [src1, src2, src3]. They are three different configurations with one test each; the only arm on this card with two independent tests of the listing we link is the HUANUO DS6 [src1, src3]. PCWorld's best premium dual arm is a different one, the Clearspace Uni-2 [src1].
• No two testers pick the same budget arm. BTOD's value pick is the HUANUO DS6, PCWorld's best budget dual is the Monoprice Workstream Dual, and Tom's Guide's best cheap dual is the Mount-It! Important Caveats

• Prices. The comparison table's prices come from our latest check of each linked listing. Prices quoted from the guides are what each outlet saw when it wrote, not today's: PCWorld $470 for the Ergotron LX Dual Side-by-Side and a typical $60 for the HUANUO DS6, Tom's Guide a $405 list price for the 13-inch-pole LX Dual Stacking arm and around $35 for the Mount-It!, BTOD over $400 for the Tall Pole stacking arm [src1, src2, src4].
• What left the card. The VIVO STAND-V002, this card's value pick until now, is removed: PCWorld calls it "easily the worst arm we've tested so far" — both screens adjust in height only together, its joints are tensioned by screws that must be loosened with a tool, and PCWorld saw a slight downward deflection even with a 10-pound 27-inch monitor [src1]. The WALI M002XL Extra Tall is removed because none of the guides we read tested it; BTOD tested a different WALI arm, the Dual Post Arm, and found its post too short [src3]. • Names. The HUANUO arm this card links is the DS6 (HNDS6) that PCWorld and BTOD tested; Amazon sells it as the FlowLift Dual [src1, src3, src11]. The Mount-It! listing is the MI-2752 that Tom's Guide tested as the Full Motion Dual [src2, src15].
• Ergotron's own site refused our connection on 2026-10-14, so the Ergotron specifications here come from Ergotron's spec sheet and the brand's Amazon listings [src7, src8, src9].
• VESA. Every arm here needs VESA 75x75mm or 100x100mm holes on both monitors; PCWorld says it is rare for a monitor to lack them, but check [src1].
• Expect setup time. Techaeris had to fine-tune the HUANUO DS7's springs to hold its monitors, BTOD found that attaching monitors to the Ergotron Tall Pole arm takes time and patience, and Tom's Guide found the Vari takes longer than average to set up [src2, src3, src6].
