Trusted Reviews gave it 4.5 out of 5, found its stain removal excellent, and measured a full Normal wash-and-dry at $0.43 and a dry-only cycle at $0.27, the cheapest it had seen on any tumble dryer. In Reviewed's head-to-head its washing matched the LG's; Reviewed still recommended the LG, because Samsung "will simply have to earn its reputation over time" on reliability. Yale Appliance found it the slowest of the three it tested, at 6 hr 10 min for sheets and blankets and 5 hr 26 min for a comforter, and has no service-rate data for it because Yale does not service Samsung combos.
